This second module of my rebalance series attempts to make weapons feel more unique by altering the vanilla cookie cutter recoil settings in the aim model record.
The mod is available as both ESL/ESL flagged .esps for Vanilla only, Vanilla/Automatron, Vanilla/Far Harbor, Vanilla/All DLCs for use in 32/64 bit OS/Mod Manager scenarios and those folks who do not have all of the DLCs but have one or some of the DLCs but not all of them.
(Note: Nuka World reuses recoil settings from vanilla weapons)
All weapons have been given a new recoil setting, as well as those in the DLCs. I have added some initial screenshots in the image section that show the changes. I will add the rest as time and my joints allow so please be patient.
Recoil Rebalance is complemented very well by Legendary Crafting Framework by DankRafft which allows for recoil adjustment, well as so much more. I highly recommend his mod to be a permanent fixture in your load order as it will greatly enhance the enjoyment of Fallout 4. A non-DLC version, well as the main version which requires Far Harbour and Nuka World is available on his files page.
Installation:
Use a mod manager to install the version that meets your setup or
Download the mod, unzip, copy to your fallout 4 data folder, and activate the mod through your mod manager.
I highly recommend using a mod manager like Vortex/Nexus Mod Manager to install this, since manual installs are harder to keep organized.
Requirements:
You only need the base game to use the vanilla version and it should have little to no compatibility issues unless another mod is altering the same records. Please ensure you are downloading and installing the proper version for you.
