This mod adds 12 Stash Boxes to the Commonwealth and also adds Plans to craft your own Stash Boxes at Workshops. The optional file in the download section can be used to also add Stash Boxes to Nuka World and Far Harbor, making the total 16.
Store as many items as you want in a Stash Box and they will be available at any Stash Box you find.
Once you have found your first Stash Box you will then be able to find the Plans to build your own at workshops (Furniture -> Containers).
I have set this up in such a way that the container that actually holds your items is a Quest Object and is Persistent meaning it will be safe from the Cell Reset Bug. The Stash Boxes placed do not actually contain your items until you activate them.
Installing
Install the zip file with your preferred Mod Manager (only tested myself with Mod Organizer 2)
OR
Put the downloaded files in your Fallout 4 Data folder
Then be sure StashContainer.esp is enabled in your load order.
Optionally you can also enable StashContainerDLCs.esp for the Nuka-World & Far Harbor Stash Boxes.
Uninstalling
There will be a holotape in your Stash Box named "[Stash Box] Uninstall Holotape"
Load this holotape and follow the instructions.
Delete the mod from your Mod Manager (if you installed using one)
OR
Delete "StashContainer.esp", "StashContainer - Main.ba2" and "StashContainerDLCs.esp" from your Fallout 4 Data folder.
Planned Features
I am planning to add a Misc Item to the game that when placed in a container will transport all the items in that container to the Stash Box. I just need to work out how I want to implement this as its a pretty strong feature and would need to have some kind of balance. If you have any ideas about this, please let me know in the comments.
