This upload is my attempt to fix many crashes and inconsistencies about Kentington's mod regarding an AI controlled Power Armor. Credits to lanceofeden for his own fix of the NIF file.
I DO NOT OWN any of these mod. What changed in the original package: NIF fix from lanceofeden Edited PowerArmorAIscript.pex Edited PowerArmorAutopilot.esp Other files are untouched.
Regular reports from the original mod page are concerning CTD, freezes, invisible Armor frame. I tested several scenarios such as battles, fast travel, indoors, outdoors:
.Battles were satisfying enough because the AI acts like vanilla (player must shoot/command/get hit first instead of them seeking ahead) .Fast Travel was very satisfying because I tested in non-Survival mode fast travel, and the AI appeared behind me. I was also using APC on the Move as a means of Survival Fast Travel and the AI still appeared normally. .Outdoors were satisfying. Fast Traveled to many settlements; protected settlement raid; .Indoors only included travelling to indoor cells like Diamond City, or Root Cellar in Sanctuary. It's satisfying enough because the AI was there and no invisibility happened.
DISCLAIMER: I am a noob scripter. I had to do this by trial and error. Please report any game-breaking bugs using the Bug Report section with details, so I can try to replicate the issue and help each other further polish this awesome concept.
