After escaping Vault 111, The General, then just an average survivor, encountered his wife, having survived and recuperated at this farmstead. Here, they pledged to scour the ruins of the former United States to find their son. Later, when the Minutemen were reformed, this was one of the first outposts established by the General, as a thanks to the Abernathy family for helping his wife recover. A large variety of crops and water purifiers help support the dedicated staff of trainers, traders, and craftsmen located here.
