Version 1.0.20200303
Initial upload.
The wiki article for Boston Public Library mentions that the terminal that should be connected to the mainframe was placed outside the accessible area of the library interior, and the quest (perhaps initiated by reading Curator Givens's logs) was probably cut from the game. This script, executed while standing in the library, will move the terminal into the room, so that you can "complete" this quest and receive the reward.
Installation:
This isn't a mod per se; it's just a script that can be executed from the console. Place the zbwRestoreBPLMainframeTerminal.txt file in the root of your Fallout 4 installation, where other similar scripts go.
Execution:
Because it's a script, and not a modification of the vanilla files, you have to execute it yourself. When you enter the Boston Public Library, open the console and enter the command to execute the script. bat zbwRestoreBPLMainframeTerminal
You should see the commands executed by the script echoed into the console.
Why not make this a mod?
Because I lose patience with the F4CK too quickly and this change isn't worth taking up a slot in your load order.
But I hate running scripts manually! This is ridiculous! What if I have plenty of room in my load order for a mod?
Then I guess you can go install this mod which more fully restores the quest. (Thanks @computertech82 for the tip!)
