As a Forward Operating Base, it has the best the coalition has to offer. The Brotherhood make and maintain the best weapons and armor around, including the advanced hybrid weave that goes into the uniforms of the Minutemen and Institute. The Institute provides the most advanced medical technology known to man while also providing advanced combat androids that are trained and built for battle, while also being immune to poison, radiation, the elements, and innately resistant to ballistics. Skeletal G1s are also remarkably sturdy and with no need to sleep, make great farmers. These disposable machines are teleported in, to pave the way and secure the area before the Airship can arrive, be it the Prydwen, the Liberty, or any other the growing airships in the Coalition's Air Command. The Commonwealth Intelligence Agency then scouts the local area and gathers intel, while the People's Army of the Minutemen are sent to the garrison. A Ranger representing the Supreme General of the Coalition is in charge of each Forward Operating Base.
Miscellaneous traders are sent to organize and sell the water brought in on APCs from Waker Colony, and the many carrots and melons from Helenia Colony. A team of hunters also were dispatched to eradicate the overwhelming amount of deathclaws in the North-East of Northern Springs and occasionally deathclaw omelettes and grilled deathclaw loins are served at the cantina.
