Another of ''utility'' mods of mine.
When i started playing, i was constantly short on materials, mostly oil, for gun components, and ergo, new mod to alleviate a bit of that.
Corn you can find easly at start in Graygarden farm, purified water and steel are all around.As it takes some machine press to make corn oil in real life, and water too, thats why the unusuall requirements to make it.Maybe in future ill make specific device (like press to squeeze oil out of corn), but thats far out for now.
It takes 1x steel, 1x purified water, 4x Corn to make one bottle of cooking oil, that in return, when scrapped at workbench will give 2 oil for gun crafting.
As for now it uses default Cooking Oil icon in pip-boy display and ingame model, but that will be updated in future.
And yes, i know there is recipe for Cutting fluid in Utility section of Chemistry station, but in begining i was short on mats to make Stimpaks, and having stims in early game was more in demand than mods for weapons.
How is it installed?
1. Open the Fallout4Prefs.ini and under the section [Launcher] add "bEnableFileSelection=1".
2. Copy the file from this download into your Fallout4/Data folder
3. Enable the file in your data section in the FO4 launcher
