This is the latest update 3.0. Added a corn, carrot, tato, and mutfruit stand alone machines as well as lowered some of the requirements overall to get started building machines faster. Honestly, you've played the game a jillion times already. You want to waste MORE time?

AS for the other crop machines you guys have been wanting, I am at a loss. I'm still not much of a modder and I looked into my mods and I am at my modding limit.
I am more of An Idea Man than a programmer/modder.
I have instead made a 3.0 version with lower requirements and a few new
machines, carrot, corn, mutfruit, and tato to get things started.
As for the other plant requests, I can't, but I offer you this :
Check out this mod It will allow you to plant/harvest every plant in the game EXCEPT thistle.
Advanced Workshop Food Harvesting
I don't think you can harvest thistle. At least when some other mods have tried to reproduce it, it blows up when harvested, like a nuclear
explosion. Its coded in the game somehow.
I have seen thistle blow up in game first hand. And I think Workshop Harvesting is where I seen it done.

WHY is it that by the end of the game the sole survivor has access to the institute science and teleportation technology WHILE often being a genius themselves,
And nobody thinks to make the settles lives easier? At. All.? Just some crusty mattresses and some tasteless gourds and they should be happy?
This mod is the answer to - what would happen if the soul survivor and the institute actually TRIED?

Made from materials you're going to be drowning in and it might be a minor challenge to remember to save once you hit mid-late game.

This mod is made for me but also made to be shared with y'all - I play with Unleveled Perks, so I can start the game with int 10 and have all required perks by level 8 if I am playing a science build!
Robotics 2, Science 2 - Razorgrain 3 units forever, 50 happiness - Breaks down to about 2 points per 25 settlers.
Robotics 2, Science 2 - Gourd 3 units forever, 25 happiness - Cause it's freaking Gourds!
Robotics 2, Science 2 - Melons 3 units, 50 Happiness.
Robotics 3, Science 3 - Tarberries! 3 Units 75 Happiness - Because Pie and Sweets!
Robotics 3, Science 4 - Quantum Auto Farmer - Industrial Edition Uses Teleportation Technology to rapidly proliferate the irradiated crop for high yield. 10 Food. Yields 3 Corn, 3 Mutfruit, 3 Tato, and 1 Carrot
Robotics 3, Science 4 - Quantum Auto Farmer - Settlement Edition. 25 food. 1 machine. 3 of each basic game crop and 4 Tarberries.

FROM SOME NOTES YOU FOUND:
Quantum Automated Farming.
We posses great technology. We could save the commonwealth. But this place is turning evil. Using the institutes technology to save the brutes above is the last thing these people want to do.teleportation technology to put the food into a quantum stasis. In that quantum state the food still grows, something to do with the foods level radiation exposure interacting with the teleportation matrix. I suspect such a result wouldn’t be producible using the food grown in the institute. The food and air here is simply too clean. I'll have to make an excuse to join the next away team and test my theories on the surface.
Automated Farming.Cobbling together components this surface world has to offer can yield fruit, literally. I have my proof of concept machine. I’ve dumbed down the robotic model the furthest I can. Lets hope the surface has a mind that can possibly comprehend this, let a lone attempt to build it. If I get a chance to leave these schematics somewhere they would be found, I would hope that some raider doesn't doom the commonwealth by using them to wipe away his mole-rat dinner.

Notes: I am just learning about modding and this is the best I can do at the moment. I'd love to add a backstory (I already have a good one), and findable corpse, searchable/findable notes that unlock machine builds, and fleshing this mod out more to make it a tad-more immersive, without it becoming a full-on quest mod.
