Do you ever felt that gas masks in Fallout 4 are unuseful?
Do you play with mods that increase damage?
Then this mod is for you!
I edited the values of all vanilla gas masks (Gas mask, Gas mask with goggles, Assault gas mask) to provide more protection from radiation, poison and physical damage.
Also, the Gas mask and the Gas mask with goggles can be now worn with all kinds of hats!
3 versions available (choose only one):
Version A
Gas mask with/without goggles - 5 Damage Resistance - 50 Radiation Resistance - 50 Poison Resistance
Assault gas mask - 15 Damage Resistance - 50 Radiation Resistance - 50 Poison Resistance
Version B - Radiation Resistance same as a power armour helmet (150)
Gas mask with/without goggles - 5 Damage Resistance - 150 Radiation Resistance - 50 Poison Resistance
Assault gasmask - 15 Damage Resistance - 150 Radiation Resistance - 50 Poison Resistance
Version C - Radiation Resistance same as a damaged hazmat suit (500)
Gas mask with/without goggles - 5 Damage Resistance - 500 Radiation Resistance - 50 Poison Resistance
Assault gasmask - 15 Damage Resistance - 500 Radiation Resistance - 50 Poison Resistance
Extract in the Data folder or use a mod manager.
Tested on Fallout 4 v1.10.163.0, no addons required.
There should be no conflicts as it is just a modification of the vanilla values, but there may be overlaps with other mods that edit gas masks!
