Changes or removes some (dynamic) shadows for better performance.
I was inspired by the mod Light Sources Do Not Cast Dynamic Shadows by Hicsuntdracones1 here on nexus and the zEdit script saveYourFinger by mrudat. I just modified the code a bit...
The advantage of this mod is that it checks your complete load order (I am using mo2), automatically patches all appropriate records and writes the changes to one file : zedit.esp.
I am currently running different light changing mods which would normally "tank" my fps, such as: Ultra Exterior Lightning Ultra Interior Lightning Enhanced Lights and FX and Pip Boy Flash Light :)
...this mod uses "brute force", no fine tuning, it is about turning (some) dynamic shadows off...to gain PERFORMANCE ...excluded Pipboy (Flashlight) and PA (Head) Lights from being processed, these lights can cast dynamic shadows, for more "reality"...
I am still wondering why people dont use zEdit more, this is a great tool and saves time...
Installation : just unpack the content to zEdit\modules...
