About this mod
Simple texture replacement and cubemap for synth skin. This is inspired by growing up with Asimov robots with skin of brass and eyes that glow with mechanical intelligence.
Also have my bat file that turns Codsworth into a fancy synth butler!

METALSKIN
Click Download with Vortex, to download the Brass version of the skin, my personal favorite.
under Files, you can select Brass, Copper, and Steel skin versions.
Gold is currently not available but the brass looks better anyways
SYNTH CODSWORTH
has full lipsync for dialog and initially wields a shotgun to defend the family.
Step 1: make a text file in the Fallout 4 folder and name it "Codsworth" and then copy paste the below into it.
Step 2: Find Codsworth in game and press ` (tilde) to open console, then use your mouse to click on codsworth.
type "bat codsworth"
Step 3: Enjoy rooting through the ruins of mankind with your REAL "robot butler" as everyone calls him.

COMPATIBILITY
This mod will always work replacing the default skin of synths. No requirements. Standalone. No esp/plugins. all loose files.
The only way to make it not work is to load something else after it that also replaces synth skin.
if that happens, load mine after that mod to make it work.
I would love, if someone smarter than me would let me know how I could make the game randomize which skin of 3 synths spawn with.
Also Im working on another big project with workshop scripting that Id love some advice on.
