Since the character is randomly spawned I decided to give a reason why he was there to begin with and then added some flavor to it.
He is the BF of Mary Abernathy who died. You will find him at Abernathy Farm near her grave with a note.
In order to recruit him you must be Brotherhood of Steel. At least Knight Level. He still follows the BOS code even though he went rouge.
Best to recruit if you plan on destoying Nuka World in your playthrough or just want some extra cover.
He is level 40 with a Gauss Rifle by default.
Requires Nuka World DLC for version 2.0
In version 2.0 Rouge Knight from Nuka World is now replaced by OldManBilly, a cut character from the game so there are not two rogue knights in the game world.
In version 3.0 an Eyebot lets you know his location right outside the vault.
Version 4.0 has removed old .esm dependencies, also redone lip files and made XBox One friendly
I didn't use any of the extra recommended add-ons so what you see in the screenshot is what he looks like by default, yet should be able to customize him to your liking.
