I am bored, very very bored.
So I did this, because I can, that is why...
It overhauls the Flare Gun, providing greater potential of use through unparalleled flexibility. It allows you to switch between ammunition sub-types directly, or to switch the base chamber to also switch between ammunition type.
Features:
> Renamed Flare Gun to Utility Gun
> Added new attachments
> Added new ammo types
> Can switch on the fly, not just sub-type but also ammo types. Switches craftable at Chem Workbench (Ammo Workbench with AWKCR).
Attachments:
> Barrels - Between Short, Long, Light, and Suppressed Barrels
> Scopes and Sights - Can use Reflex Sights, Recon Sights, and
> Damage Receivers
> Pistol Chamber - Can shoot 44-Magnum, 45-Round, or 45-70 (Vanilla), on the fly.
> Rifle Chamber - Can shoot 308-Round, 7.62mm, or 30-06 (WO), on the fly.
> Smoothbore Chamber - Can shoot Shotgun Shells (and variants) or Flare Rounds, on the fly.
Ammo Types:
> Ball - Basic Rifle/Pistol Rounds
> Overpressure - Increased damage and limb damage
> AP - Armor-Piercing Rounds that ignores 40% of Resistances
> IT - Incendiary Tracers that deals partial energy damage and damage overtime, has reduced spread.
> Subsonic - Has reduced range, but increased sneak-attack damage.
> API - Armor-Piercing Incendiary deals extra energy damage on top of ignoring resistances, and generates explosion that can harm targets behind walls
> Frag - 4570 exclusive that deals splash damage
> Plasma - 44-Round exclusive that deals extra damage at the cost of slower projectile.
> Standard Flare - Used to signal the Minutemen
> Artillery Flare - Used to signal an artillery strike (Requires Old Guns)
> Vertibird Flare - Used to signal a vertibird (Requires No Mercy)
> Buckshot - Basic Shotgun Rounds
> AP-Slug - Single-Projectile round that trades damage with increased armor penetration
> Pulse Slug - Single-Projectile round Deals extra electrical damage, deals extra damage to mechanical targets
> Dragon's Breath - Shoots a cloud of fire that deals extra damage overtime, deals extra damage to non-mechanical targets
> Frag - Shoots an explosive shell that deals splash damage, and can hit targets behind cover.
> Nuke - Shoots a powerful explosive shell that deals extra radiation damage.
> Timed Frag - Shoots an explosive shell that explodes after a brief delay.
> Caps Shot - Shoots a cloud of bottlecaps that does little damage, but can send enemies fleeing.
