This is my first mod for Fallout 4. It's a fairly simple overhaul of the Charelstown drug den near the Tucker Memorial Bridge and Bunker Hill into a Minute-Man base with about 6 Minute-Men, a dog (and sometimes a cat appears), a doctor and beds you can sleep in. There are also lots of weapons there as I was planning to make it a base for Cricket, but I could not get her to trade with the player character. She'd talk, but not trade. So I took her out and made it a Minute-Man base. Similarly Shenley's Oyster Bar near Hubris Comics has been turned into a Minute-Man base as well, dispossessing the raiders that were there.
I also turned the small shack near Walden Pond into a Settler shack, with a single Minute Man patrolling it. I got tired of killing the Raider couple that lived there.
I have all the DLC packs in my game, but this just uses Vanilla Fallout 4 objects so it should not need any of the mods.
As I said, just a first mod, simple, easy, nothing crazy.
FAQ:
Q. Is it okay to add to the game at the start / end / some other time? A. It is okay to add to a current game. It actually does not change much, just removes a lot of debris, adds some vanilla objects, settlers and Minute-Men.
Q. Does it break quests? A. I'm not sure.
Q. Does it break pre-combines? A. I'm still learning about pre-combines, so I'm not sure.
Q. Does it break combine harvesters? A. No combine harvesters were harmed in the making of this mod.
Q. I found an issue / floating object / something that needs fixing. A. Great, please take a screen shot of it and let me know.
Q. Does .... A. Hey, I'm just an autistic person from Australia who makes mods. I don't have all the answers.
Q. I don't like your mod because .... / I want to tell you you're wrong!!! / I want to argue with you! A. No problem, scroll on and download another mod. If you be rude, argumentative or disrespectful I'll just ban you from my mods then block you. Please just don't. I'm very autistic and can't handle conflict.
Q. Do people really ask you these questions? A. You better believe it.
