T-13 BEANO HAND GRENADE
Replaces the vanilla baseball grenade with the American-made T-13 BEANO hand grenade - An experimental grenade that took its' first presence back in WW2...
This is a part of my grenade overhaul project, which will add in many unique grenades and mines into the game, I've decided to release this as a side mod. It's not lore-friendly, but the baseball grenade and T-13 share many similarities so I figured this could be a thing ;D
(P.S. In my actual modding project, the T-13 doesn't replace vanilla baseball grenade, I have a specific replacement just for that, and this replacer is just a side mod)

its a nade it go boom and was in service...However, this experimental weapon ended up as a failure. Due to T-13 Beano's unpredictable premature detonation, it actually caused more injuries on the American side than the enemy's. The US government immediately recalled and destroyed these experimental grenades upon receiving the casualty reports.
The designers of T-13 Beano hand grenades - "Office of Strategic Services" also known as "CIA" in modern days, fixed the pre-existing issue of premature detonation by replacing the grenades' fuses with their newly designed ones, but by the time this was done, the war was already over, and these grenades were never used by the US military as standard issued fragmentation hand grenades ever again.
Although this project was a total failure and embarrassment, it did do one thing good - it inspired many baseball-shaped fragmentation hand grenades to be made in the future, a good example of them would be the M67 grenade - which later became one of the most successful hand grenades ever produced in history.
