This mod removes all the overtly flashy sequences from the Museum of Freedom quest, and goes with the base narrative of just bandits attacking the people inside. The power armor and minigun no longer spawn on the roof, and the Deathclaw doesn't spawn at all.
The NPCs don't even mention any of them now. Preston's dialog has been changed slightly to fit the new narrative, and it's obviously not voice acted.
You can still get the power core if you'd like, that hasn't been changed.
Id also recommend this mod to go with it. It moves the 10mm piston in vault 111 near the Cryolator and locks the door. That way you have to use pipe weapons for a bit.
I find it very silly that Bethesda added power armor, a minigun and a Deathclaw in the first encounter of the game.
Conflict info: This mod changes 3 quests (the second main quest mq102, the quest that handles the museum DN092, and the first minutemen quest MIN00) and the scripts related to them. It also changes the roof top of the museum. Any mod that changes those, will conflict with this one.
