About this mod

Incremental Fusion core charging station that's quite expensive, but has a lot of utility. Add up to 6 cores to the generator component to increase how much is recharged per hour.

INTRODUCTION
You might be thinking, "aren't there already fusion core charging mods?", and yes, there are. But this one charges any fusion core incrementally, instead of taking charges or building up charges to give you only 100% full cores.
So you can remove a fusion core at any time and it will be charged only as much as you actually allowed it to be.

ie you leave to go do something and come back after an hour with 3 fusion cores connected to the Generator- it will have charged from 48 to 51 percent.

REQUIREMENTS
F4SE for some scripting functions
Mod Configuration Menu for Nuclear Material Efficiency control

USAGE INFO
Everything is made in the workshop menu, but be warned, it's quite a required materials list as I wanted this to be fairly expensive.
There's a generator component in the proper Workshop section and the Fusion Core Charging Station itself in the Power>Misc section.
For full functionality craft both and snap them together.

There's now an Electrolysis Machine that will separate Nuclear Material from Purified water.

INTERACTION
Use a fusion core to any percent. Fully using up a core will give you an Empty Core, to be found in the Misc section.

Build the station with Science! 1(6 Int)
Fuel the station with Nuclear Material at a rate of 1 NM per 60 charge cycles. That's 2 hours of charging. The station automatically pulls more NM from the normal workshop container(same place you deposit junk for scrapping).
Power up the station with generators.

Instructions
Insert a single core into the station to begin charging, it will show how much Nuclear Material you will need in the Workshop for a 100% charge.
Wait, sleep, or just play the game until charging is complete. You will get a notification as the station sends out a radio pulse for your Pip-Boy to receive.
Take out the core and use as normal in power armor and etc.
You could instead take the core out at any point before full charge to have the core accurately but only partially charged.
Again, the core works as normal.

Build the Electrolysis Machine with Science! 1(6 Int)
This device requires 1 Purified Water in the workshop to do its work, and can handle 3 units of water per hour.
It produces 1 Nuclear Material per unit of water, and returns 90% of the processed water to your workshop, AKA 0.9 units.
You'll notice that's not a whole number, as such your workshop only retrieves the extra water when it has at least 1 full unit to retrieve.

The device will only use your surplus water, and will search your Caravan linked workshops for their surplus water as well, so stay stocked up.
Device can be turned off.

Build the Generator with Science! 2(Level 17)
Add fusion cores to the Generator, up to 6 total. Each one increases the power output of the Generator, and speeds up the charging of your core. You can see how many you have installed visually.
The Station itself only requires 10 power, but directly connecting a Fusion Generator is preferred. Click a powered Station to add a fusion core of your choice(only partial or empty fusion cores btw) and then exit the container menu to start charging.
Cores do not get used up in the Generator.

Nuclear Material and charging:
Default recharge rate is 1 percent per hour if powered by vanilla generators, each fusion core in my Generator increases that to 1 percent per core.
AKA, 6 Generator cores will charge your Station installed core 6 percent per hour.
Thus, you gain Nuclear Material efficiency if you use the Fusion Generator and give it fusion cores, since it goes off of charge cycles(1 every 2 minutes) and not charged percent.
The MCM menu will let you boost the efficiency further, but I recommend not going to excess here.

Science! 3(Level 28)
Increase Nuclear Material efficiency by 1.5x(amount divided by 200 rather than 300)
So 6 Fusion cores in the gen charge a core in the charger 9 percent per hour.

Science! 4(Level 41)
Increase Nuclear Material efficiency by 2x(amount divided by 100 rather than 300)
So 6 Fusion cores in the gen charge a core in the charger 12 percent per hour.

RECOMMENDATIONS
I use mods that make Fusion Cores more scarce, and I recommend you do the same.

UPDATE PROTOCOL
To update to the newest version, remove all active charging cores, all inserted cores in the fusion generators, scrap all stations and generators, and save. Then disable the old version, and make a fresh save without any version of the mod active.
Install and enable the new version, and it should work just fine from there.

BUGS/INCOMPATIBILITIES
???
I really can't conceive of how there would be one. But maybe timescale mods or purposely waiting unusual amounts of time will have weird effects on how much your cores get charged.

CREDITS
Many thanks to RLBaxter for the testing of my many, many iterations of the scripting for this mod, and his suggestions that coincided with many of my own ideas. I definitely wouldn't have retextured the station without his suggestion, because just working is good enough for me lol
El Ha and Zorkaz for the Water Purifier model from Interior Settlement Resources, it was a good, small device for my purposes and had credit-allowed permissions
