About this mod
***NO PRECOMBINES BROKEN***
With this you can remove the bramble-junk, vines, piles of leaves, seaweed, and some of the brick and debri junk in your settlements while in workshop mode. Or use a craftable holotape (Chemistry Workbench) to remove it all automatically.

REBUILT - NEW GAME ONLY. If you update a game which already has this mod in it, you just broke your game. This is an effort to fix an intermittent purple texture bug which appears to have been successful.
========================================================
~~~Update 7~~~
Updated for NextGen. Recompiled the scripts and repacked everything into new ba2 archives.
Do not upgrade to this version if you have been using the OldGen version. Complete your game first.
No longer supports:
* Automatron
* Far Harbour
* Vault Tec Workshop
* Nuka World
Since Far Harbor on XBox causes CTDs with world edits - stuff it. I'm not supporting any of them. If they look too bare for your tastes, too bad, don't use this mod.
~~~XBOX USERS WARNING~~~
I see that *very unfortunately* somebody has uploaded a copy of the OldGen Clean My Settlement REDUX to BethNet for XBox users: https://mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4/mod-detail/4362283
The reason that it's unfortunate is because I took down the REDUX version for XBox because of a major issue:
It can cause random CTDs on XBox.
This is not due to the NextGen update breaking textures. This is because Bethesda gave XBox players some different back-end files (specifically: Far Harbor) than what they gave us PC users.
When we PC users do special changes, like I did with the Clean My Settlement and Clean My Settlement REDUX mods, it works fine on PC. On XBox though - they randomly clash.
Currently 151 … 270 …391 … 488 … 813 … 1084 … 2518 games...
...and counting.
The holotape can also be used to tidy up scattered dirt and the puddles of water inside a settlement area.
There is a sticklike "forest grass" which is very objectionable in some settlements - this has been reduced to half-height. The cattail-grass at places like Murkwater Construction Site have also been halved in height.
***Version 6***
Just in time for FO4's Bomb-Drop Day! (Okay, about 2 weeks in advance. I'm gonna be on holiday.)
Changes:
* Collision removed from all of the replaced bushes, now you can activate corpses and mines and the like without the bushes blocking.
* ESM flag added to the .esm file, those having issues with re-ordering in front of the UFO4P etc should now be able to do so with ease.
* Attempted to restore the bushes in front of the Sole Survivor's home. Again. Pretty-much lost hope for those.
***USERS OF THE ORIGINAL VERSION***
While the original version of Clean My Settlement is still up-to-date, this REDUX version deals with a couple of extra bushes that the original version didn't. This REDUX version also allows those bushes outside the Sole Survivor's home in Sanctuary to be scrapped in workshop mode. The original version will also have no further updates - any issues that users might have I will consider to be:
* loadorder issues
* other mod issues
PLEASE NOTE: YOU CANNOT SWITCH FROM THE ORIGINAL VERSION TO THE REDUX VERSION
The two versions are completely incompatible. If you are running the original version in an existing game, complete your existing game. Do not try to swap the original with the REDUX version.
You will break your game irreparably if you do.
***USERS WANTING TO ADD TO AN EXISTING GAME***
If you have a current game which does not have the original version, I still suggest that you do not add the REDUX version. Save it for a new game. The reason is that adding a new ESM / Master file to your game mid-playthrough can have some unfortunate side-effects: I wouldn't do it, neither should you.
(The game might become unstable/crash a lot/have ingame weirdness occur. I found that through several painful experiences. Please learn from my experiences: don't do it.)
***LOADORDER NOTE***
Put this mod at the very top of your loadorder (before UFO4P, etc) - you want everything else to overwrite this!
***EXTRA HOLOTAPE OPTIONS***
Also in the holotape is other options:
1/ A fix to remove an invisible collision plane at Abernathy Farm
2/ A fix to remove the mirelurk gunk at The Castle (if you take it over without following the Minutemen questline)
3/ A fix to re-add the light at Kingsport Lighthouse (the light disappears if you take it as part of the Minutemen questline)
***YOU WILL HAVE A SLIGHT FPS LOSS***
Unfortunate - there is an FPS hit.
The base game doesn't allow you to remove all those bushes and stuff in your settlements, this mod does. Other mods do it by breaking precombines - with the issues that broken precombines cause. This mod aims to not break precombines while letting you remove some of the crud and junk in settlements.
The choice is yours, if the FPS loss is too much for you - remove this mod and start another game from scratch.
