About this mod
A central HUB for my Collections and modlists to provide better support, show choices that extend beyond the one mod listing you found of mine, that sort of thing. This HUB will point you to my items, but also offers a few save game downloads for the Collections as a quick start.

Dusty Dude Abides Curated Collections & Modlists
Dusty Dude Abides Mods is my brand of mods, modlists, and Collections. If it's Dusty Dude, you know I played them myself and I so abide by them (lol). Ok, ok, in all seriousness, this HUB will point you to my various mods, modlists and Collections, but also provide a bit of support beyond the current Nexus forums scenario. I hope Nexus gives us something else - not a fan of the current implementation as of July 2022.
My Mods
I have mods to immerse you intensively in the desert/badlands atmosphere from many basic food and drink mods, Transfer Settlement blueprint for Red Rocket, and my most complex mod -- Whiskey Smoke -- in which you revivify the activities of a dead prewar New Vegas company as part of your settlement play. I have a lot of LOD files for Desperados and Badlands 2 players with variations on those two mods to include LOD for Atomic World, South of the Sea, etc. I even have save games for a BoS named Knight Deckard that uses GRIM to mix up the genre.

Save Game Files
There are two save game files in the Downloads tab. One is simply vanilla Nora standing next to the vault's elevator so you can quickly get up and running with her for any reason, but mainly for my Candied Starlight Collection. Change her name and use Looksmenu as per usual once you step onto the platform.
The other save file requires SKK's Synthetic Player mod, but because the vanilla intro sequence doesn't really like being played with, it's possible the mod may not load you into the Institute. This solves that by loading you past all that into the vault so you can Looksmenu. You can use the vault's elevator platform to change his name, looks, stats, of course.

- Desert, a basic Fallout New Vegas like theme for general modding beyond that.
- Deadlands, a more aggressive take on Desert in which the mods work against each other to surprise you, and give you role-playing road bumps that you might take instead. Helps break up the "next quest, next quest, next quest" problem.
- Redwood (OBSOLETE - DON'T USE) a Nexus Collection that mashes up four different modlists to my liking, still of the desert/badlands variety, but filled with more raiders than you shake your stick at -- believe you me with the optional Dynamic Loot Reduction mod active you may well be using a stick to fend off hordes of raider brutes and ferals of all kinds. Find a katana, maybe? Think 'Six String Samurai', a 1998 movie.
- Candied Starlight (OBSOLETE - DON'T USE), which as the name might suggest, is a Nexus Collection of the adult variety. Nuke Ride is a DLC size mod that takes you into a stalling adult entertainment movie industry propped up by Nuka World raiders. You become the catalyst of change, and it is a Collection in which you should ONLY play Nuka Ride.
- Misty Skye (OBSOLETE - DON'T USE), a Nexus Collection that mashes together both Redwood and Candied Starlight, a kinky mix placing your character in a primal borealis filled with Misty Pines. Be a beggar asking for all sorts of things, pole dance at the Red Seat, and then maybe graduate into the adult entertainment industry using Nuka Ride.
- Noir Simone (OBSOLETE - DON'T USE), a gritty noir modlist wrapped tightly around Goodneighbor and the Railroad, Diamond City Expansion, Tales of the Commonwealth, Beantown, all with custom previsbines. Ever wanted to regularly date Magnolia? You can. Want to have your Triggermen faction provide 'protection' to all those shitty little settlements? You can. Want to dress for the machine gun school of thuggery? You can. You will. You. Will.
