Was the entire Moon destroyed in the battle of the Sea of Tranquility? Was it stolen by Zetans while everyone was underground? Was it an Institute hologram all along, which they've now decided to turn off? Had it always just been the product of pre-War hallucinogenic chemicals present in food and water? Have the Nightkin gotten to it and covered it in Stealth Boys? Who knows! Who cares!
All silliness aside, this is just a simple mod that makes the moon invisible. I originally created it to go along with Gruntnugget32's wonderful Apocalyptic Galaxies; I wanted to use one of his retextures to simulate severe atmospheric irradiation (in the Fallout green glow style), which would cover up the moon and brighten the night. My mod simply replaces all textures for the moon with invisible ones.
If you use a weather mod, you might still get lighting, including godrays, emanating from where the moon is supposed to be. You'll have to open it in xedit, find and remove the records that cause it. Or just let it be.
