As the overview above said, it buffs cap collector. I made this mod by request, so i made three versions.
Version 1 Version 2
Each rank of the perk now lets you invest 500 caps, so 1500 on rank 3 Each rank of the perk now lets you invest 500 caps, so 1500 on rank 2, 1500 on 3.
Rank 3 now improves barter as rank 1 and 2 does: Every level improves barter on the same amount:
rank 1: Buy Price = 0.9x / Sell price = 1.1x / Invest limit = 500 rank 1: Buy Price = 0.7x / Sell price = 1.3x / Invest limit = 500
rank 2: Buy Price = 0.8x / Sell price = 1.2x / Invest limit = 1000 rank 2: Buy Price = 0.7x / Sell price = 1.3x / Invest limit = 1000
rank 3: Buy Price = 0.7x / Sell price = 1.3x / Invest limit = 1500 rank 3: Buy Price = 0.7x / Sell price = 1.3x / Invest limit = 1500
Version 3
Same as Version 1, but disable investing.
NOTES:
If you have invested caps before upgrading the perk, investing again will invest only the amount needed to reach the limit, for example. (invested 500 caps at rank 1, upgraded perk to level 2 and tried to invest on the same store, you will only give more 500, because 500 + 500 = 1000, so you will have invested a total 1000 caps)
After upgrading to higher ranks, you will not be able to invest JUST 500 (or 1000) caps on non invested stores, a perk at rank 2 will invest 1000 caps on a store, and rank 3 will invest 1500.
The game itself have a barter improving cap (wich mean that having 50 charisma, rank 3 cap collector and all issues of junktown jerky vendor will not let you take everything from a store for free), i don't know how closer to the cap the rank 3 of the perk will reach, but will sure help if you don't have a higher charisma.
