- It makes powerarmor change to a reshaped power armor model when used by a female player or NPC. Exactly like how clothes work, for example - the male clean suit and the female clean suit are comepletely different models. The clean suit itself stat-wise does not change, but the model changes dynamically when equipped by either gender. This is the main goal of this mod to provide alternative power armor models for when worn by female characters.
- No scripts are used (for now), only added 'ARMOR ADDON' records and Overwriten 'ARMOR' records with a single plugin that is also ESL flagged. (Mods that buff or adjust the affected power armor records will need a patch).
Limitations:
- Although the game supports adding a female world model for power armor, it is not a feature utilized in the base game. The power armor system is designed to only use male models, so I had to find loop holes and alternate approach to add female models.
- This mod currently does what it is intended to do and works as intended, but requires more work and updates to be perfect.
- Only T-45, T-60, T-51 and X-01 power armor are included in this mod. WIth only two female model presets to choose from.
- All power armor frame uses the default road leather body (Raider Frame) regardless of what you are wearing.
- Note power armor frame and power armor pieces are different models. The mod currently affects all base game frames, but if you wear unsupported armor - you should expect clipping issues between the frame and armor pieces. Same thing applies to custom power armor mods that uses the base game power armor frame. Custom power armor mods with their own power armor frame are unaffected and should be completely compatible.
Planned updates:
- Vault suit and brotherhood of steel suit variants of power armor frame.
- Raider power armor, miscellaneous power armor and DLC power armors.
- Slightly smaller helmets that matches reshaped power armor models.
- Body slides with custom weight sliders to allow making your own preset.
- Add more power armor frames models to support more vanilla clothing.
