The Luty Sub-machine Gun
Updated Textures!
Philip A. Luty was a British designer of homemade firearms. Whilst he did not consider himself an activist, he held strong beliefs in favor of universal firearms ownership and expressed these via his website and other platforms. As a form of political protest, Luty sought to widely disseminate plans for firearms. Luty designed a number of craft-produced firearms, most notably four distinct sub-machine gun designs. His book Expedient Homemade Firearms gives detailed instructions on how to build the most widespread of these using readily available parts that can be purchased at a hardware store. Although the title suggests these weapons are easily made, their production still requires some knowledge and metalworking skill.
The real Luty firearm has the charging handle, and shell ejection port on the right hand side and shoots 9×19mm Parabellum ammo. This version is set up with the left hand charging handle and shell ejection port on the left side and uses .45 ACP ammo.
The Luty SMG does not have any special animations or upgrades, and I will not be making any for it. It is just a basic no frills weapon just the way I like it.
As stated above in red the weapon can not be improved or changed at a Workbench, other than having a legendary effects added to it.
It is craft-able at the Chem Bench and has its own listing, so it should be easy to find.
The mod is flagged as an ESL, so it does not take up any mod slots.
The mod is what it is, and unless it is a game breaking issue, will not be revised.
A big Thanks to WickedClown285 for helping me figure out where the awful shadows were coming from, with his help the issue was resolved. :)
If you are crashing at the Chem Bench when trying to make the weapons, go and download and enable the mod No More Legendary Screen, that mod will stop the crashing from happening. Make sure you get the correct copy of the mod for the version of the game you have.
To all the haters out there, I dedicate all my mods, to all of you.
Thank you for letting me live rent free in your minds. :)
