You can find him inside the Red Rocket near Big John's Salvage.
It's not exactly friendly there.
He uses a typical Nuka-World animatronic blaster.
Also known as the Fallout 3 alien blaster.
You can steal his blaster if you kill him.
But why would you?
Once a day he will give you a cold Nuka-Cola.
He's a good boy.
He doesn't speak much, he is an animatronic after all.
He does respond to commands though!
He is considered a heavy laser turret, thus he adds 12 points of defense to a settlement.
That's if you use him as a settler, of course.
The mod is as lore-friendly as I was able to make it.
His head is even on a stick, like the other animatronics. Merely his body is more mobile.
The color scheme is precisely that of the animatronic, he uses a zetan body and the animatronic head.
Overall the only differences are in the "sticks" connecting legs and arms. The one connecting his head is there.
The "energy" parts of his suit on the back and front are made of green glass. It doesn't glow as it's assumed this animatronic is always active and doesn't require visual indication.

Animatronic Alien suffers from similar animation issues to aliens in Fallout 4. Blame Bethesda for not giving them proper animations aside from basics.
Implementing new animations either requires super expensive software or way too much time, if you're not Bethesda.
