Beth.net release (for Linux users/non-Nexus users)
over 2 years ago, i made a small mod called "All-in-One Firing Sound Replacement" that changes the firing sound effects for, let's say, the 10mm Pistol, with one that combines the 10mm firing sound from both Fallout 3/NV and Fallout 4, "making a familiar yet new sound"
the mod was only uploaded to Beth.net and exclusive (in its full form) to Xbox. i was able to bring the 10mm Pistol replacer to Nexus, with plans to bring the others over. however, it never happened as i had lost all files due to a hard drive failure. since then, i had thought about remaking the mod while adding onto it. well, i finally did it...
introducing Classic Firing Sound Replacement
"so, what does it replace?" i hear you asking. well, let's take a look, shall we?
SniperA (not too sure what this does, but hey, its here)
ALL OF THESE ARE AVAILABLE STANDALONE OR ALL-IN-ONE. THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OTHER MODS THAT DO THE SAME THING. ANY MODS THAT USE ONE OF THE VANILLA SOUNDS I CHANGED WILL BE AFFECTED.
to install, either use Vortex/MO2/ect or, if you want to install manually, extract the .rar file and put any of the folders (ie. PistolFortyFour) in this folder:
Fallout4\Data\Sound\fx\wpn
if the "wpn" folder doesn't exist, create it or just copy over the "wpn" folder included
