If you ever missed customizable facial animations or just proper headtracking (eyetracking) from the slow-mo VATS cameras, then this mod may sound interesting to you.
It adds a bit more RPG elements to the game by enabling headtracking and allowing you to select from a variety of facial animations for your character. In the vanilla VATS, headtracking (eyetracking) is not available and the player character just looks "somewhere". Also, headtracking now applies to non-FaceGen standard characters (non-humans, in other words) like Super Mutants, Robots, Feral Ghouls, Bloatflies, etc. (In vanilla, headtracking is only available for the Human Race).
The mod supports multiple animations, where each is seen in a different situation based on a multi-level system.
1. "Base level" ( if not in Kill Move and not being Too Close; default expression: aiming, focusing )
2. Kill Move ( amused, joyful face might just fit )
3. Too Close ( lets you choose a separate anim if you're very close to the target; maybe Nervous as it's a "dangerous move" )
4. Gender ( different expressions for female and male targets; like being flirty to gals, smug to guys; available on all levels )
Available facial animations:
0: Angry/Hatred
1. Joyful/Amused
2. Psychopathic/Sinister Smile
3. Aiming/Focusing
4. Flirty
5. Puzzled/Confused
6. Disgusted
7. Nervous
8. Surprised/"Second thought"
9. Friendly w/ Self Confidence
10. Smug/Condescending
11. The Professional
I have made many pictures of the expressions... check out the mod pictures.
