Changelogs
Version 1
Initial release.
This mod edits Dogmeats follower package so that he ranges behind the player, instead of out front. This has the effect of keeping him from charging into rooms or areas where you wouldn't want him to do that. If there is not much room, for example in slim hallways or small caves, he might sometimes still move in front of you - but not permanently.
Technical details:
'Dogmeat Follow Behind.esp' plugin is marked as an ESL so it uses one of 4000 or so light mod slots.
This mod is a single base game record overwrite, it contains no scripts or assets and was created with the FO4 Creation Kit, it has been checked with xEdit and contains no erroneous records.
- Can I get the actor to follow behind the leader instead of out in front? - Yes, this is easy: just use negative values for the MinDistance and MaxDistance parameters.
