Fixes a few issues that prevent hostile NPCs from respawning after a while.
About the bug: the vanilla game may skip respawning NPCs under certain conditions after a Cell reset, causing them to disappear forever. (It doesn't restore them later). This isn't very common but after a while, lesser enemies at random locations can be notiable.
Beyond the bug fix, it also flags those NPC base records to respawn that were likely just missed by the developers. NPCs templated from these base records disappear as well. The mod patches these records to make them respawn properly.
Notes: the mod doesn't affect "location bosses" like Red Tourette or Tower Tom as they weren't intended to be respawned. It doesn't change NPC respawn or Cell reset time either, only fixes the broken NPCs.
Compatibility:
The mod doesn't overwrite any vanilla record, it be should as compatible with other mods as possible. (It's a lightweight mod, applies the fixes at runtime, "on the fly" and it doesn't make any permanent changes to any NPCs).
Mod Settings:
Optionally, you can change some of the mod settings in ..\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\NPCRespawnFix.ini. The INI contains the settings' descriptions.
Respawn Time:
From v1.3, hostile NPC respawn time can be changed in the INI. Default is iRespawnTime=24, so 24 ingame hours. If it's set to 0, the respawn time check will be skipped.
(Technically, the mod creates a cell respawn map file (NPCRespawnFixCellGrid.ini) at runtime and stores the last respawn time for each cell. This file can be removed or modified if needed but it's easier to change iRespawnTime in NPCRespawnFix.ini if you'd like hostiles to respawn faster or slower).
