Changelogs
Version 1.2.1
While creating the texture for Helmet Decal 2, I messed up and applied layer mask twice. In result the poseidon text was a lot less visible and this was not intentional. I tried to correct this mistake. Other than that, just some small tweaks to the other helmet decal textures. The plugin and other files are not touched.
Version 1.2
Added reduction of incoming stagger, same as the Pneumatic armor mod.
Added reduction of incoming explosion damage, just 5% less than Padded armor mod.
Chest Decal 2 with rusty Poseidon logo now included in the main file.
Helmet Decals are now two and there's a small change to specular map. 1st is the previous one, but tweaked to be less colorful to look worn down. 2nd one is edited to look more rusty.
Small tweaks to UV coordinates of female chest decal mesh.
Version 1.1
Added decal options on the armor workbench - for the chest and helmet. For this purpose I'm overriding the nif files for the Diver Suit body.
Created a separate BGSM material for the neck cover mesh. This was done in order to enable the "two sided" option, otherwise everyting else is the same.
Changed the Enchantment of the Diver Suit to a new one. With this I added a hidden perk, which improves rad protection, similar as the Hazmat Suit. I also added complete negation of the rad damage from water, like the Aquaboy perk.
Re-aranged the perk requirements for the metal materials: Painted - Armorer lvl.1, Enameled & Shadowed - Armorer lvl.2, Alloyed - Armorer lvl.3, Polished - Armorer lvl.4.
Additions and some fixes for the Diver Suit from Far Harbor DLC. The plugin has ESL flag.
Doubled the stats - value, weight and resistances.
Reduced occupied body slots to the following - Hair Top, Hair Long, BODY, L Hand, R Hand and all the armor[A] slots.
Added materials, they have similar properties as the ones for the metal armor - Painted, Enameled, Shadowed, Alloyed and Polished.
Removed metal bars from the helmet and added glass visor.
Added headlamp option for the helmet.
Added neck cover for the helmet.
Added hood inside the helmet, to hide the character's baldness.
Fixed female world model(ground object) pointing to wrong file path.
Fixed over-glossiness by editing and creating specular map from the existing textures.
Added missing wetness material path in the BGSM.
Enabled Environment Mapping in the BGSM.
Enabled specular for the suit's gloves.
Some more additions with the updates(also check changelog for more details):
Added decal options - on the chest and back of the helmet.
Improvements to rad resistance - the Diver Suit functions the same as the Aquaboy perk. Beside breathing underwater, water radiation is completely negated. Radiation protection is closer to that of the Hazmat Suit, but not the same, it's a bit weaker.
Added reduction of incoming stagger - it is the same as the Pneumatic armor mod. This will also help, when you face opponents with Gamma guns.
Added reduction of damage from explosions - just slightly worse than the Padded armor mod.
Important: It's best to install the mod before you receive the suit as a quest reward. If you already have the suit, it will turn invisible when equipped, because of the changes from overrides. In this case I recommend to try with constructing the headlamp. Last resort option is to manually spawn the suit - use console and type the following: additem 0304885a.
Thanks to JayDollar for pointing out some of the problems in his Rescue Diver Suit Material Fix mod. You can use his fix with my mod, but you'll have to extract the files from the BA2 and install them as loose files, overwrite where necessary. I'm not sure what will change for the look of the metal materials after that. Speaking of materials, I'm not great with textures, but I did put some effort. The metal paints and specular map keep the rusty worn down look of the suit. And thanks to Qrsr for suggestions and feedback on the decal textures.
