About this mod

This mod adds a .38 caliber variant of the combat rifle and a new grenade type, accessible early in the game. Both weapons are balanced toward early gameplay up to level 20. There are also several interior cells added and a few cells are modified to add content related to the weapons, fully navmeshed.

Hello wastelanders! May I present to you my first mod the Commonwealth Criminal Interiors Project. A small project I put together to get more practice in the Creation Kit. The mod features three new (small) interior cells and minor additions to three cells already in the game. There is a small story tying these places together and providing a backstory for the new weapons and items added to the game. The content here was built with a new game in mind but should stay relevant to the mid to late game. All of the content here was built with vanilla Fallout 4 in mind and to be as minimally invasive as possible. Should work well with other mods that modify the levelled lists.

This mod features two weapons:
 
The first weapon is the M3T1 Training rifle. A .38 caliber combat rifle to get you through the early game. This puts a use to the .38 caliber receiver option for the combat rifle that unlocks at Gun Nut rank 4. This is a separate weapon from the combat rifle but weapon modifications can be switched between the two. There is also an automatic rifle version that may spawn that has a .38 caliber automatic receiver. I created this weapon to make use of the .38 caliber ammo that is abundant on raiders in the early game. 

The second weapon is the Tin Can Grenade. Inspired by the same grenade from the New Vegas addon Gun Runners Arsenal. This grenade is more powerful than a standard fragmentation grenade but less powerful than the special grenades like plasma or nuka grenades. I created this weapon as a pseudo replacement for the over abundant frag grenades enemies carry.

Both of these weapons have been added to the levelled lists of Raiders and Minutemen and the grenades have been added to the levelled lists of Gunners. The rifles should spawn up to level 20 on enemies and the grenades should spawn on regardless of level.
