There's a lot to love about the Survival Difficulty setting, but don't you just hate the ridiculously high damage you take?  This mod has the solution!  It lets you give and take the same damage as if you were playing on the Normal Difficulty setting; but it still gives you the immersion of having to sleep, eat, drink, and take antibiotics when you get sick. The mod also has other benefits, such as adding the experience boost and carry weight bonus to more food, making it easier to make antibiotics, and much more!

πŸ†• WHAT'S NEW
This is the initial release for Xbox of the mod originally released only for PlayStation, with these enhancements: (1) Reduced the number of ingredients needed to make medicines and herbal remedies. (2) Increased the experience bonus for eating Squirrel Stew to +10% and renamed it Bird Stew. Also changed the name of Squirrel Bits to Bird Bits and Squirrel on a Stick to Bird on a Twig. (3) Added the same experience bonus to the Iquana Soup and renamed it Fish Soup. Also changed the name of Iquana Bits to Fish Bits and Iquana on a Stick to Fish Stick. (4) Added the +25 carry weight bonus to Ribeye Steak, Deathclaw Steak, and Yao Guai Ribs; and made the bonuses stackable.

The mod changes the percentage of damage done to you and the percentage of damage you do in Survival Mode. With the mod, this damage is the same as the Normal Difficulty setting:

The mod also makes it easier to make and buy the antibiotics and herbal remedies essential for survival: 

Medicines and Herbals Are Easier to Make

* Antibiotics: To make it, you now only need the first rank of the Chemistry perk, and you only need 2 purified water, and 1 of each of the other ingredients. 
* Herbal Antibiotic, Herbal Anodyne, and Herbal Antimicrobial: To make them, you no longer require a Glowing Fungus, and you only need 2 purified water and 1 of each of the other ingredients.
* RadAway: To make it now requires 2 purified water and only 1 of each of the other ingredients. 
* Refreshing Beverage: To make it now requires 2 purified and only 1 of each of the other ingredients.
* Stimpaks: To make it now requires only 2 blood packs and antiseptics.

More Food Bonuses

* Squirrel Stew: It now gives you a 10% experience bonus, instead of 2%.  It's also now named "Bird Stew" and the ingredients are called "Bird Bits" because there are no squirrels in the Wasteland! Also, "Squirrel On A Stick" is now "Bird on a Twig". 
* Iguana Soup: It now gives you a 10% experience bonus. In addition, it's now named "Fish Soup" and the ingredients to make it are called "Fish Bits" because iguanas aren't a thing in The Commonwealth!  Also, the Iguana On A Stick is now--you guessed it: "Fish Stick".
* Ribeye Steak, Deathclaw Steak, and Yao Guai Ribs: They all now give you the same +25 carry weight bonus as Grilled Radstag (plus their original bonuses). The effects also stack: If you eat all 4 means, your carry weight bonus will be +100!

* Doctors and Chem Dealers: They have a chance to sell Glowing Fungus, Bloodleaves, and other rare ingredients so you can make more of your medicines and herbal remedies.
* Bartenders: They also have a chance to sell rare ingredients so you can make more soups, stews, and other meals to keep you well-fed in The Wasteland.  There's a chance they'll sell more Whiskey so you can make more Dirty Wastelander, too.  
* Other Vendors: They have a chance to sell more bottles, medicines, and ingredients, too.
* More junk can now be used as fillable "bottles" at a water pump or other water sources.

* Drinking beer, wine, spirits, and colas now gives you both a bottle cap and a bottle you can reuse for drinking water. 

Diseases Effects Are Clearly Shown

* Diseases: When you contract a disease, its effects are now clearly shown in the Stats menu, so you'll know that taking antibiotics will remove them.  They are now displayed in the menu as "Fatigue (Disease)," "Infection (Disease)," "Insomnia (Disease)," "Lethargy (Disease)," "Parasites (Disease)," and "Weakness (Disease)." Because, when you're feeling lethargic, you want to know whether you need antibiotics or a nap! Right?

🚧 LIMITATIONS OF THE MOD
The mod affects incoming and outgoing damage when playing in Survival Mode only. It cannot be used to change the damage received and dealt when playing at other difficulty settings.

βœ‹ DISABLING THE MOD
You can enable and disable the mod as often as you like. Disabling the mod won't disable Survival Mode. Before disabling the mod, make sure to sleep in a bed so the game will create an Auto Save. After disabling the mod, load the Auto Save. Survival Mode damage settings will return to the defaults.
1. Save and exit the game.
2. Disable the mod.
3. Load the save to see how damage returns to the default Survival Mode settings.

The game gives your character hidden perks for incoming and outgoing damage multipliers in Survival Mode, which are each set to 1.00. Changing the multipliers of these perks changes the Survival Mode damage settings. The mod multiplies the incoming damage multiplier to 0.33, resulting in incoming damage of 99% for all attacks on the player (0.33 x 300% = 99%). It changes the outgoing damage multiplier by 1.33, resulting in outgoing damage of 99.8% for all attacks made by the player (1.33 x 75% = 99.8%). Two sources were used to verify the damage modifiers for the mod are correct:
