WARNING
- Disarm the traps at this settlement yourself, the layout cannot do that for you
7 Beds
10 Water
5 Power
5 Turret Defense
6 Possible Guard Post Defense
2 Possible Food (Carrots)
No Crafting Stations

Jump Start "Guidelines"

Only use scrap roughly available at the freshly obtained settlement.
Layouts therefore are not "overpowered" or "cheaty".
Meant to be modified to fit your needs and playstyle.
Don't build anything that requires skill perks.
Use only vanilla assets available in base game and DLC.
No Precombines broken, no scrap mods used.
All vanilla idle/work markers are respected and present, and work in the layout without strange collisions
Vegetation clipping is avoided as much as possible (grass, bushes)
Key features of the settlements typically are not scrapped to keep it visually interesting
Most scrap is utilized since it would otherwise be lost during the "Scrap Everything and Then Build It" phase.
Pre-existing structures, furniture, and features are reused as much as possible
Everything can be scrapped or changed by you after loading the layout to fit your needs
Layouts are stored in ESL files that will not impact your load order or ESP limit

Installation and Usage

Install via your favorite mod manager.
Ensure you have installed Workshop Framework

At your workbench, choose "Manage"
Then choose "Settlement Layout"
Then choose "Build/Manage Layouts"
Then pick "[Settlement name here] Jump Start" (using Next/Previous if necessary) and choose "Use This Layout"
Finally pick "Scrap Everything Here and Then Build It"

You should then get a notification "Cleaning up Settlement".
When its done you will get a message "Completed build of Settlement Layout" and the time it took.

This takes around 1 minute on my machine.

F.A.Q.

Where is the settlement recruitment radio beacon?
Get out there and find some crystal wastelander, and build it yourself!

Can this work with Sim Settlements 1/2?
Sure can, but you will probably want to scrap the vanilla beds and rearrange some areas for plots.

Can you do one for settlement XYZ?
I plan on doing all base game settlements eventually.

Can I add this mid game?
Yep, its a simple ESL file and can be added or removed whenever.

Can I build this without "scrapping all"?
Yes, but you might have conflicts or collisions with other items already in your settlement and are entering "cheaty" territory with scrap.

Do items/scrap get destroyed during the "Scrap Everything Then Build It" phase?
Loot in the settlement is placed on your workbench. Pre-existing items you built are stored. Generic scrap from items that don't fall into those two categories is lost, but the Jump Start layouts intentionally do their best to use all of that scrap in their builds to mitigate that issue.
