Tesla beams slow, chill, shock, and disintegrate targets. They also have damage over time effects and much more range and accuracy. You can equip the Tesla Chamber Emitters on Laser Muskets, normal Lasers, Institute Lasers, and Gatling Lasers (for now).
The Gatling Laser can also get the Death Ray attachment instead of the normal emitter. This converts the gun into a single shot, non semi auto, beam that has seemingly limitless range, assuming you can aim far out there, and has a ~2 ish second cooldown between shots. It does around 300 damage and lays a residual effect down on the ground/landscape that it hits that also will straight disintegrate things that walk into it or didn't die in the first hit.
These attachments and the continuation of this mod are not supposed to be justified nor balanced. They are fun, and you can fire a blue spartan laser, why not.
The cells and cores are crafted at a chemistry bench, soon to be converted to my vTZv Workbench once I implement it. You must sacrifice normal cells and cores in the process. This mod does require my core mod to function and it will throughout the future. This mod is the first of an unknown amount that I will be making. This is going to be the shock and cold oriented one. I plan on making a poison/toxic/acid edition and a fire edition as well at some point.
You need Nuclear Physicist R1 to craft the Death Ray on the Gatling Laser and a handful of resources. The attachments do not spawn naturally, you must craft them. They would be touch to go up against. Again, this mod is supposed to be a shits and giggles mod that just adds new stuff, nothing crazy.
