Great work on bringing Fallout 1 back. I very much enjoyed the play through of the demo and can hardly wait for the full version. Here are a few observations. 1) Unlike the original Fallout 1, tagged skills do not increase by two for each skill point spent on them. Is that intentional? 2) Unlike typical Fallout followers, Ian can die in combat. For me a Radscorpion killed him during a random encounter. It would be nice to make him and other followers essential, so they go down, but don't die. 3) Dialog options with Theresa in Vault 13 and Aradesh in Shady Sands, after Tandi is kidnapped, won"t trigger.
Again, awesome work and looking forward to more. Thanks!
I remember when Sulik died in Fallout 2. It was in the wasteland between New Reno and San Fran.
I thought about his life, his quest for his sister and that now he would never find her. I think I felt real grief, as I just stopped and stood next to his corpse in the howling desert winds, for what must have been minutes.
Fallout 2 was my first CPRG and I worked very late shifts so I always played it in the middle of the night which I am sure made my brain more suggestible and immersed me more.
to everyone in the comments the devs said they were going to be releasing a unfinished version of the mod so if anyone wants to finish it be my guest but its not like we lost everything with the development being suspended
wonder why amazing projects like this never gets completed, and eventually abandoned... cuz its free? So why not charge 40,50,70 dollars for it because it's absolutely worth it, not these new woke games been coming out these recent years ,Imo expand older games are much easier and more better and stimulating than new gankyass game its whats Bethesda been doing with elder scrolls online and sell them, I still play games from 10years back only because of theses mods and expansion pls don't do the same thing as fallout London charge damn it ...love the mod thank you so much❤
ZagarusTheOld Not quite, but paid mods exists some are worth it like the quest mods with new maps to explore and some of them are absolute waste of money, but if this mod gets there (in complete state) Im willing to bet they can sell a ton out of it...I know it's not a popular option (paying for mods) but that's my thoughts on the issue.
If you truly want to support this project, join their Discord server and report bugs. I'm in doubt that the mod authors check here. And for any bugs you find, they would've likely been reported there too but hard to know without being on their discord to check. That's why I stopped heavily searching for bugs in this project because of this community split.
They posted an update to their discord server last night that they're ceasing the development of the mod and will post the work they have done some months down the line.
