Enter the game via f4se_loader and you will be happy.

Great modding. If the rest of this is anything like what you have already done, Bethesda will be knocking at your door. Seems they like to hire folks like you with creative skills.

Great Demo... Can't wait for the full release.. would it be possible to get the weapons as separate mods to use in Fallout 4?

Great work on bringing Fallout 1 back. I very much enjoyed the play through of the demo and can hardly wait for the full version. Here are a few observations.
    1) Unlike the original Fallout 1, tagged skills do not increase by two for each skill point spent on them. Is that intentional?
    2) Unlike typical Fallout followers, Ian can die in combat. For me a Radscorpion killed him during a random encounter. It would be nice to make him and other followers essential, so they go down, but don't die.
    3) Dialog options with Theresa in Vault 13 and Aradesh in Shady Sands, after Tandi is kidnapped, won"t trigger.

Again, awesome work and looking forward to more. Thanks!

In the first two games companions can die like any npc, to keep them alive you have to stock them full of stimpacks.

It's been a long time since I played Fallout 1 but It was nice to experience this. I had a few problems as listed below.

    1. The Bonus Ranged Damage perk requires level 6 and agility and luck = 6 rather than than >=6. It seems strange, Is this intentional for a 666 kind of thing ?
    2. The Scout Handbook didn't increase my Outdoorsman skill but the other magazines seem to work fine.
    3. I CTD in the Yao Guai Den inside the entrance after killing the first 2. I also crashed once with the Yao Guai at the top of a hill. Something about dead Yao Guai possibly made me crash. I never experienced any other crashes anywhere else.
    4. In a bathroom of vault 15 there is a texture glitch
    5. Ian not being essential means he dies too easy. A.I is not companions strong suit for survival either.

Companions in the first 2 aren't essential, so you have to give them stimpacks and the like to keep them alive.

Well that was a waste of time and it looks like I am not alone. Has ANYONE been able to get this to work?? I have my doubts at this point. After about 3 hours of trying to get this to work, I no longer care enough to play it. Just going to boot up Fallout 1 instead.

read the instructions on the op and learn 2 read

also drop any mod that isn't necessary, that includes the unofficial patch that breaks this mod

Make sure you are using version 1.0.1, downgraded, that you changed the ini, and are running through the F4SE launcher. I would recommend using a new instance in MO2 so that no other mods or your override folder is conflicting with the mod.

@DirectorCM See Deepfreeze915's post below, I added the Backported Archive2 Support System mod and added what they posted to my Fallout ini and Custom ini and the demo's music is now playing in the menu screen instead of Fallout 4's music.

"reading the instructions" is exactly the problem right now, they've left out some important steps that need to be taken to get this to work properly. I really hope the description page gets updated as the info currently provided does not get the mod working for everyone.

I just made a post on the Forums section about how I got the game to launch with Vortex. If you use Vortex it might work for you too.

So, it looks like the general consensus  is don't play this on Vortex? Lol, I get the main menu, hit start new game, and it just sits and loads, and if i even try to click outside of the game window (on another monitor) it is not coming back lol.

Cannot find a way into vault 15. Is that area not designed yet or I'm missing something?

      Spoiler:
      Show
There are two big metal sheds next to each other - one with a semi backed into it and one to the right. Enter the one on the right & go upstairs, then turn left to find an opening in the wall where you can walk out onto the roof & into the other building with the semi backed into it. Once inside the 2nd building, go downstairs - behind the stairs to the left is a little side room which should have a metal floor entrance to Vault 15.

The more I thought about it, it would've been better to have the game place that "marker" that was outside to that trap door so that the player can find it easier in a roundabout way and not waste an hour trying to find it. Thanks for the hint nonetheless. :)
