Fallout 4 - Point Lookout is a fantastic DLC. However, it has it's bugs and some missing elements. This mod aims to solve the most annoying issues.
Fixes:
- Plik's Safari works correctly now and spawns ferals as it was supposed to be.
- Turrets in Calvert Mansion now reset to their original position, if they happen to misplace themselves.
- Fixed the ambient and player audio crash in "Blackdamp Shaft", "Underground Lab" and "Sea Cave".
- Fixed unaggressive female tribal in Calvert Mansion assault.
- Added missing flags to NPC leveled lists, so you get some variety.
- The chickens "Pickles" and "Tango" are not hostile anymore.
- Deposit boxes in the "People's Bank" can now be opened after the quest "The Velvet Curtain" has been completed.
- The quest "Velvet Curtain" can not be restarted after completion by the Safehouse terminal anymore.
- Added a proper travel marker to the Swampland Farm. Originally the Center marker was used for that, which is a bad idea, as this marker gets moved by the Travel Mat and you don't want to move special markers like the center marker.
Additions:
- Kenny is now voiced. (thanks to user "radbeetle" for creating lipsync files)
- Woodrose and other female tribals are now voiced. (thanks to user "radbeetle" for creating lipsync files)
- Swampland Farm now has an invisible supply line to the Farm Shack player home. This allows sharing of resources between the shack and the farm and by that also the rest of your settlement network, if you connect the farm to the Commonwealth.
- Farm Shack player home now has a power box (just like the one in Home Plate). This allows you to build and power objects that require electricity. Because of this addition, I have disabled all previous light sources in that cell. If you want to have light, build some.
- The "Armor" and "Weapon" options of the Universal Workbench now allow you to use workshop resources in your settlements.
You can install this mid game. It uses an ESL flagged ESP that doesn't mess with the plugin limit. Of course you need the original mod and the 1.14 update.
This mod was done and tested on Old-Gen, but probably works fine with the Next-Gen update. I can't test it.
Just drop the content of my archive in your Fallout 4 Data folder and activate "CWPointLookoutFO4FixesAndAdditions.esp".
Load order needs to be:
1. CWPointLookoutFO4.esm
2. CWPointLookoutFO4Patch.esl (Update 1.14)
3. other Point Lookout mods (optional)
4. CWPointLookoutFO4FixesAndAdditions.esp
If you use more Point Lookout mods, check for conflicts in FO4Edit. It's best to load other Point Lookout mods before "CWPointLookoutFO4FixesAndAdditions.esp", so my fixes can override them. If you don't want that for some reason, you'll have to fix conflicts yourself.
DON'T uninstall mid game! This mod uses scripts and you may break your savegame.
Credits go to the authors of Fallout 4 - Point Lookout for their fantastic work on this DLC and of course to Bethesda for creating the Fallout series.
I also want to give my thanks to the creators of FO4Edit, Caprica and Champollion. Without these tools, this mod wouldn't exist.
