Wilson Atomatoys famous Giddyup Buttercups were the pinnacle of toys in the Pre-War world, and many of the toys can be found scattered in various states of disrepair across the Wastes. However, there are whispers of strange almost humanoid figures with distinctively equine characteristics, these mysterious automatons are the subject of many hushed rumors. Were they an advanced prototype that awoke after the war? The result of bored tinkers with a few too many metal horses? Or are they a hollow shell of painted metal, containing the twisted remains of victims that have been stuffed inside alive? Probably the latter because this Mod is about wearable costumes!
Crafted at a chem station under the Utility tab, these armors take up basically every equipment slot, so I added 4 variants so that one may have aesthetic options. I primarily designed them with the thought of equipping them on assorted settlers, possibly making entire themed settlements. but they would serve perfectly well as Player armor as well.
The leg animations are a tad wonky, even for my wacky digitigrade creations, largely because these are unguligrade in nature and don't line up as nicely, but it's not too "Immersion breaking" having slightly strange walking animations on your totally lore friendly robotic horse people.
Also, A "light" version of this concept is present in my "Anthro Assaultrons" mod, as just a head and tail to better mix and match
