Buff-Et Plus is thespiritual successor of Commonwealth Buff-Et, with a ton of improvements all wrapped up in a smaller package. Dropping from over 180 new consumables to a more manageable 115, the mod still provides enough goodies for you to keep yourself fit and healthy – well, at least in terms of wasteland standards.


-= a la carte =-

The vast majority of itemsis unlocked by finding a total of 12 new magazines scattered throughout the Commonwealth. Each magazine is centered around a certain theme and provides some tidbits of lore about the items and their development. A few extra consumables are unlocked right from the start, while others can only be bought from vendors or are found in the game world where they have been seamlessly embedded to provide more immersion.

The categories are as follows:


Pre-War Goodies
What it says on the tin:consumables which were already known (and actually quite popular) before the bombs fell.


Vendor items
The good stuff thatunfortunately cannot be crafted and more often than not is a vital component of the more powerful items you can craft. Better buy the entire stock whenever you get the chance and you got enough caps to spare.


New Wasteland Survival Guide
Pretty much the firstmagazine you will encounter after leaving the vault. Provides both some very useful consumables AND also some new stuff to craft in your settlements!


Jet-based stuff
Some old buddies fromFallout: New Vegas make an appearance once again.


Canned food
Find a unique canningpress, grab the mag on the table, and start turning fairly cheap meat into some serious HP boosters. Also provides a couple of meals with a bit more Ooomph in case you need it.


Gunner Chems
Great stuff for any sniperwith ambitions. Hmmm … tasty headshots ….


The Brewery
Why search for a cold onewhen you can craft it yourself? Also allows you to craft both vanilla game alcoholic beverages and some new ones. This is gonna be the party of the century!


Herbal Remedies
Mostly plant-based meds tosave you some Stimpaks and RadAway


Ramen
Seven new noodle-baseddishes, each one raising one of your S.P.E.I.A.L. Stats by one for 60 minutes. Also: Ramen!!!


DC meat
All of them provide thesame serious resistance buffs, albeit with different duration. Be careful, though: that stuff's not cheap!


Cocktails
Here, have a shot! Powerful effects for a very short time, also quite addictive.


Denny's Den
A new merchant who sellsyou some very potent stuff for a good price – and even more stuff which is questionable at best...


Wasteland Junk Food
Powerful and tasty HPboosters which heal you within 5 seconds (in normal mode)!


Irradiated food

Has some - interestingeffects, but your Geiger counter will explode.


Jerky and dried fruit/veggies
Lightweight snacks toboost your carry weight. And it tastes awesome!


Project NRT-0001
Requires the mysteriousexperimental plant the Brotherhood of Steel encountered and brought aboard the Prydwin. The effects are impressive, but so are the side effects as well.


Chemistry 101
Provides some recipes forcrafting uncommon components like oil and adhesive, provided you have the "Science! 1" perk.


Unique

These items are extremelyspecial, incredibly powerful, very hard to find, or tied to your game progress.


-= The modded stuff =-


As with CommonwealthBuff-Et, Buff-Et Plus also modified some of the vanilla game consumables to make them more useful.
- Most alcoholic beveragesnow reduce RADs.
- Grilled Radroach nowonly requires 2 radroach meat to craft, its weight is reduced to a more logical 0.1
- Psycho got the new meshalready used in Commonwealth Buff-Et
- Bloodpacks now heal moreHP the lower your health is
- Purified water, dirtywater and Institute water now have an ice cold version as well


-= A little extra =-

There will also be a Quick Guide containing some infos about the lore and main stats of every chem and item in Buff-Et Plus, the first WIP already being up on the Nexus. It includes the pre-war stuff, the survival guide, the jet lab, the canning press and the gunner overpass.
It'll be updated as soon as possible, but that'll take some time with more than 100 items eagerly waiting to be included. :P
There will also be some improvements to highlight the different categories, but I haven't decided on how to do that in the optically most pleasant and immersive way.

In case you really want the full package (sort of, as a few consumables are exclusively in this mod!):
Commonwealth Buff-Et (version 1.8.3)
Keep in mind that Commonwealth Buff-Et is incompatible with Buff-Et Plus! They both share locations, assets and items, with Buff-Et Plus basically being a stripped-down, reorganized, and massively improved version (on the code and backend basis, not so much in terms of stats) of its predecessor.
