About this mod
Add different outfits with a brand new, lore friendly armor. Armor is craftable at chemistry workbench under its own category, available both for PIP PAD / tablet or traditional PIP BOY users. All in one mod!
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
Available in vanilla Male and Female variants.
I made this while still on 10.1.163, but since there are no script of any kind, I suppose it's gonna work on Next Gen. This has not been tested, so any tests would be appreciated!
Armor uses Body and underarmor slots, meaning you can use *invisible* armor parts from other mods to enhance it without having any clipping.
***** UPDATE V 1.03 *****
- Added craftable railroad coat variant with new belt pouches. As always, both PIP Boy and PIP Pad versions available.
- Added craftable armor for cait, metal and pouches.
Download V 1.02 (REQUIRED) and only then upgrade to 1.03. Overwrite .ESP with the one from 1.03.
***** UPDATE V 1.02 *****
- Removed workbench ballistic weave menu - it was causing CTD. Being looked at
- Added 3 Vault Suit versions
- Minor clipping fixes on female bodies
- Working on old gen - next gen
***** Crafting *****
Armor is craftable with the chemistry workbench, under "00 Wastelander", here's the description on how different outfits are named:
Wastelander's Gear (K L PP)
K stands for "kellogg", D for "DC Guard", G for "Gunner Guard", GW for "green white"
L stands for "Leather Pouches", C for "Canvas pouches" (the ones of the vanilla brotherhood fatigue, resized and weighted)
PP stands for PIP PAD (or tablet, or whatever), meaning you're gonna have armor on the left forearm; PB stands for PIPBOY. NPCs with PB armors will have naked left arm.
***** Future upgrade *****
I'm working on a couple of vault dweller variants, and a chest armor slot item that might be worn over other outfits/underarmors. Some clipping might occur since it's pretty hard to make something that is gonna fit flawlessly any piece of clothing
***** Recommended mods *****
All assets used to make this mod are vanilla. This means it's a low weight mod and all the texture depends on your own installed game.
I suggest to use this with retexture mods, like Thaylar's, which is my personal choice.

I think it fits pretty well a game modded with tumbajamba's armors which are amazing and kinda inspired this mod

***** Installation Notes *****
You can see all the variants in the screenshot section, plus a screenshot of the Creation Kit with all IDs if you want to add via console.
Or, just write "help wastelander 4 armo" to have a complete list.
This mod uses loose files, it's so lightweight I don't think you need to pack it; just remember to enable loose files in your INI.
PERMISSIONS
The mod uses only vanilla assets.
Please do not upload the mod on other websites.
If you want to make a conversion for consoles, write me a PM, credit and put the link to this page. I'll update the page and link the console version too.
