Since the first time I've played Fallout 4 I've always wanted to do more with the feral ghouls and glowing ones. I always thought that they were a threat that could have been done a little better with just a few game play mechanics switched around and changed. So that's what I did here.
With this mod you have a choice of files to download. There is the choice of having their radiation cloak be at a vanilla value of 15 or 30 and a choice file of making the glowing ones have an increased cloak of 30 with the revive burst from the Nuka World boss fight.
The effects of having this mod is that ferals will be a threat to sneak around. They'll be a threat through the walls and locked doors. The radiation from their cloaks will stack and heal them. Meaning the bigger the group of ghouls the more they'll heal themselves.
The reason why I kept the values were they are at is because the radiation from them has the possibility of keeping you from fast travel, sleeping, hacking, or lockpicking. Also with them having radiation values stacking and reducing as they move about can be heavy on the script of the game engine and can cause a little stuttering. It's my hope that keeping them somewhere below 30 will keep the overall game in balance, fun and not mess up on the first mod I published.
