OVERVIEW
Adds a new way to handle enemies while in stealth, featuring dynamic and contextual animations. Inspired by games such as Cyberpunk 2077.

Sneak up on enemies while holding your weapon out for the option to take them down silently, without alerting unaware enemies!
Takedowns require that you are undetected by the targeted NPC and that you have the Mister Sandman perk at level 1+.

BREAKDOWN
Takedown animations are dynamically selected based on your equipped weapon type and camera perspective.
- Fists/Unarmed/Hand-To-Hand weapons will have normal takedown animations.
- Rifles will have a gun bash.
- Pistols will have a pistol whip.
- One-Handed/Two-Handed animations will have appropriate and distinct animations.
- Knives have slashing animations.
- Unique weapons like power fists have specific animations.

Hand-To-Hand/Unarmed takedowns are stealthier than other takedown methods.

Detection is calculated based on nearby actor's distance + line-of-sight to you.
If you are properly hidden, you won't be noticed by nearby friendlies or enemies.

You cannot perform takedowns on Power Armored targets, or while you are in Power Armor. This is due to a lack of takedown animations on the Power Armor rig, and a balance decision.

NOTES
This mod has been tested on both versions and works on next-gen AND on last-gen.

Some modded weapons with custom animations will not play kill-moves correctly.
This is an issue with how the animator made the animation, they can fix it by properly implementing kill-moves into their set.
Do not report this as a bug. It's not an issue with the mod, and there is nothing I can do to fix it.
You can try enabling the "Always Play Hand-To-Hand Animations" setting in the MCM to see if that fixes the problem.

I highly recommend ToggleEquip for this mod, so you are able to play unarmed takedown animations without entering your Pip-Boy to unequip your gun.
