The EX-Facility was once a top-secret installation of the U.S. government, commissioned by the Enclave High Command shortly before the Great War. Originally built as a hub for groundbreaking research and the development of new technologies in the Boston area, until the facility's history took a dark turn.
Within its depths, experiments with the mysterious FEV were conducted—promising advancements that ultimately ended in failure. Deep inside a nuclear missile silo, the remnants of these experiments and a lingering sense of the past remain. However, as the world descended into chaos, the facility was abandoned, left behind to be forgotten.
