About this mod
Easy to use console commands to spawn settlers for commonwealth, far harbour, and nuka world. Great for modding, testing settler mods, quickly building settlements, etc.

> Using The Commands
Save your game (a full save not a quick save) then open up console inside a settlement and type one of the following commands:
- bat SpawnSettler for Commonwealth Settlers
- bat SpawnSettlerFH for Far Harbour Settlers
- bat SpawnSettlerP for Pack Settlers (Nuka World)
- bat SpawnSettlerO for Operator Settlers (Nuka World)
- bat SpawnSettlerD for Disciple Settlers (Nuka World)
- Amounts available: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. Add to the end, eg: bat SpawnSettler10.
> Use the move option in workshop mode to add them to your chosen settlement. Settlers spawned with these commands do not automatically belong to a settlement, they need to be moved using build mode to assign them!
TIP 1: Hate how a settler looks or wanted a man/woman/child/whatever? Click them in console mode and type RecycleActor. They will respawn. If you can't find them type MoveTo Player while their ID is still in the console.
TIP 2: Typing tai with nothing selected in console will turn AI off, making settlers stand still and respawn in place. Use OpenActorContainer to equip things as they may not talk to you. Just retype tai with nothing selected to turn back on when done.
> Notes and Compatibility
- Safe to remove/add at any point.
- Will never conflict with other mods.
- Not case sensitive.
- Works with all mods that add settlers to the vanilla pools.
- I don't know if unassigned settlers will despawn eventually or may cause issues, so to be extra safe only spawn the amount you need and use tip 1 above to get the look/gender/age you want. My assumption is they walk away and despawn after you've been gone a few days when cells are reset or what ever but I don't know for sure :).
- Spawn settlers with this at your own risk...spawning more than your PC can handle at once could be dangerous.
> Troubleshooting
It doesn't work!
If your issue is not below please feel free to post in the comments but be very specific so I can help!
How do I open the console?
The default keys are grave ( ` ) or tilde ( ~ ), which is the key before the 1 key. If these aren't working please add this line to your ini file: "bAllowConsole=1". Your ini file is by default in: documents/my games/fallout4/fallout4.ini.
Note: Survival mode may block console, if it has you will need to install a mod like survival options or survival tweaks to re-enable it.
I can't spawn Nuka World or Far Harbor Settlers?
These bat files are built with my load order. If you don't have all the DLCs, or you have a different load order, these won't work out of the box and you'll need to modify them. To fix them:
- Run the command to spawn the settler that doesn't work.
- Above the warning messages it will say something like spawn 00000000 (MUST be 8 numbers, if one is missing add 0 to the start).
- Retype that line but with 01 instead of the first two letters.
- Keep trying with 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 until it works.
- Copy or remember this number and go into the txt files and change them all for that settler type only.
Settlers don't belong to my settlement?! WTF?!
I wrote this massive description and you read none of it?
Settlers despawn or leave the settlement!
I wrote this massive description and you read none of it?
I can't add a settler to the settlement, interact, or open their inventory?
> If the settler can't be interacted with in build mode or told to move: Select them in console mode and type AddKeyword WorkshopAllowMove. If this doesn't work make sure you are selecting the right settler, sometimes fog, decals, environment, or clothing get in the way of selections in console mode.
> If you can't open their inventory sometimes this happens after recycling the actor, click them in console and type OpenActorContainer 1.
> If the settlement of your choice is greyed out: then you've hit the settler cap. You can use the command modav Charisma 100 (later do -100 to revert) to boost your charisma, use a mod like Workshop Framework (HIGHLY recommend!), or select the workshop in console and use the command setgs fDefaultWorkshopMax <amount> (Affects all settlements until reload) or setav WorkShopMaxPopulation <amount> (affects selected settlement permanently). Do this at your own risk I do not know how these may impact your game.
The mod is greyed out in Mod Organiser!
It's not a mod, it's bat files, so Mod Organiser will grey it out for that reason. It will still work and not cause any trouble.
This doesn't spawn settlers from x mod!
If x mod doesn't add settlers to the pool of settlers it won't work and it's not patchable. That mod will have its own command to spawn settlers.
This broke my game!
No it didn't, it does nothing until you type the command :). If you spawned 2 million settlers at once or didn't assign them and let them walk around after all the effort I put into writing this massive description page for text files that's on you friend :).
