A good offense is a great defense, I say.
This was primarily my "artillery cope" as I was doing tons of on-and-off tinkering on the artillery settlement object but later found out that the one thing I really wanted to alter was hard-coded into it which explains why other Artillery overhaul mods did nothing to change it. Sooo... here I am.
- Adds the Star Control Defense Automation to the "Power -> Manufacturing -> Machinery" menu (Uses the 'Auto-Loom' texture)
- Costs 5000 caps to craft and 15 Power to power on
- Provides 50 Defense to settlements
- Produces various weapons when connected to a terminal
- All recipes cost 1 Steel
- ESL-flagged ESP file; so you can change where you want it in your load order without it counting towards your ESP plugin limit
Producible Weapons:
Tactical Nuka-Nuke Transponder
- The main reason this mod exists
- Much like the Homing Beacon, throwing this will cause a large missile to appear in the sky and land somewhat near the beacon, and will cause a Nuka Quantum-enhanced explosion
- Unlike vanilla artillery, this doesn't require nearby settlements, doesn't have a cooldown mechanic, and will work in other worldspaces like Far Harbor & Nuka-World.
- The biggest downside is how inaccurate the missile is (although I've mitigated this issue quite a bit)
Novatron Blade
- A stronger version of the Assaultron Blade
- Comes with the 'Penetrating' legendary effect
Air Cannon
- A definitely-not-a-Junk Jet that runs on fusion cells and fires off blasts of air (Lorenzo's Artifact Gamma Gun)
Burn Knuckle
- A stronger version of the Power Fist that also does fire damage
- Comes with the 'Instigating' legendary effect
Nuka Quantum Grenade+
- A stronger version of the Nuka Quantum Grenade with a larger blast radius
Hellwalker
- A stronger version of the double barrel shotgun
- Comes with the 'Staggering' legendary effect
Hydro-Munitions Minigun
- A stronger version of the Minigun that fires off water
- Infinite ammo; If you use it for a while, you might "run out". Just switch to a different weapon, wait a bit, switch back, then reload.
- NPCs can't use this correctly
Molecular Digitizer
- A stronger version of the Institute Laser Rifle that fires off a green 'VR' beam (small AoE per hit)
- Reduces DR/ER by 25 on-hit
Nukatron Rally Beacon
- A non-damaging grenade that spawns a single Nukatron.
- Can fast travel with you and enter buildings (So try not to spawn too much)
- Can hurt you and others accidently; friendly-fire
Mr Frothy Rally Beacon
- A non-damaging grenade that spawns a single Mr Frothy.
- Can fast travel with you and enter buildings (So try not to spawn too much)
- Can hurt you and others accidently; friendly-fire
'Bonk!' Rod
- A stronger version of the Lead Pipe that sends people flying on-hit.
