I DON'T KNOW ENGLISH WELL, SORRY FOR THAT.
I base my mods on Qrsr's Dark Commonwealth mod, that's why they are the way they are.
Mods are overhauled vanilla files. They are not things made from scratch with precision and care, they are things created using a hammer with total amateurism. I like the vanilla style and therefore I want to capture the vanilla feeling.
I don't have time (real life consequences), so I probably won't answer questions like "how to install a mod" or "why is a mod the way it is"... I'll probably not answer anything at all. Mods are what they are - "take it or leave it".
There are smarter people than me out there in the Nexus universe, if they think I've done something wrong, please tell me what it is and how to correct it.
My "RIG":
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor, 3400 Mhz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
16GB DDR4 RAM
SSD
24 inch 1920x1080 monitor
I have a downgraded FO4 NG version (for the time being)
I play FO4 at a resolution of 1920x1080 on ULTRA.
ZP's Vanilla Landscape:
The mod reworks some textures from the base game, Far Harbor, Nuka World, and Vault-Tec Workshop.
The mod changes the look of the landscape to be more weathered, post-apocalyptic and littered with rubble. Everything is vanilla, nothing is taken away, nothing is added, the mod is just textures and changed numbers. The mod will not break your precombines and is highly compatible, because it is just changed vanilla stuff. If you want your landscape to look like in the pictures, use my other stuff too.
ZP's Flora - Vanilla Grass
ZP's Flora - Interactive Flora and Fungi
ZP's Flora - Inactive Flora and Fungi
ZP's Flora - Vines
ZP's Flora - Vanilla Trees
ZP's Vanilla Water Liquid Scum
With these mods you will transform the landscape to a more post-apocalyptic (and more beautiful) feel while still maintaining the vanilla feeling. Everything is vanilla, so compatibility is great. Heart attacks will be frequent due to the density of vegetation and the fact that fauna can camouflage well in it. I know what I'm talking about, I literally stood next to a scorpion and didn't see it. Check out some of the pictures and you'll know what I'm talking about. This will also change the gameplay, which needs to be more tactical and attentive.
I also had to change interior textures somewhere so things didn't look weird, and once I changed one thing, I changed another, like in Vault 88 for example. Creating textures is just an endless dilemmas and compromises. I removed the car wheel marks because it's nonsense, just like that gooey stuff from potholes.
The mod consists of the following components:
- ZP's Landscape AIO - all in one textures WITHOUT ZP's Vanilla Landscape Rubble Plugin.esp plugin
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape Rubble Plugin.esp - a plugin that determines the amount of rubble, you can change the amount in xEdit if you want, the plugin requires NW and FH DLCs.
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape BRIDGES - bridges
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape CASTLE - The Castle
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape DECALS - decal textures
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape GROUND - clay, sand, gravel and similar things
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape PIERS - piers
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape ROADS - roads, sidewalks, concrete roads
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape ROCKS - big rocks, small pebbles
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape RUBBLE - trash, rubble, just a mess
- ZP's Vanilla Landscape VAULT88 - I know it's underground, but it's like a big piece of landscape, so I redid that too
You can use the components however you want, you can install and uninstall them whenever you want.
Images:
images are from FO4 + FH, NW and Vault-Tec Workshop, the pictures from the Glowing Sea are without the green weather so you can see what's going on there. There's so much, I can't put pictures of everything here, you have to see it for yourself.
There are really a lot of things in the mod, I hope I didn't mess anything up, so
If you see any anomaly, please report it.
Compatibility:
Use common sense, compatibility should be maximized, but of course the mod is not compatible with mods that do the same thing. I highly recommend creating your own LOD, check out the Far Object LOD Improvement Project.
Plugins don't take up space - esp marked as esl.
ZP's Vanilla Landscape Rubble Plugin requires NW and FH DLCs.
