A transfer settlement blueprint for Spectacle Island. A seaside home for the Director, as well as an offsite location for shady SRB dealings.

This is a Transfer Settlements Blueprint for the vanilla Spectacle Island settlement location. On a raised platform is both a coastal home fit for the Director, and an... offsite location for the Synth Retention Bureau (SRB) to ask friendly questions. 

It is a medium sized build focusing on the eastern part of the island. 

The idea is that this is part of a post-MQ above-ground Institute.

The Director spends an inordinate amount of time above ground. This is not a complaint. But the Director wanted a secure location on the surface from which to work. The Board had to approve the expenditure of material, but the Director and I were able to come to arrangement. Since securing the Commonwealth I have need to, when necessary, be able to troubleshoot on the surface. The more temperamental the subject, the more I would like to screen them prior to bringing them into the Institute proper. 

So, I get my offsite location, and the Director gets their base of operations. The other Board members offered little protest and approved the construction. I suspect they have similar thoughts that 'less is more' when it comes to the Director's presence. And who on the board could argue against moving dangerous subjects further away from themselves?

Overview of features:
  • Elevated construction.
  • One pod features a home for the Director. Has a bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, office, workshop, and garden. 
  • One pod is two stories and features four containment cells. Copious use of one-way glass to monitor subjects, including from a raised floor.
  • One pod is two stories and has a synth troubleshooting workshop. Up top is a small garden and shooting range. It features a trap door for quick disposal of failed subjects.
  • Fish farm underneath the platform (if using G2M).
