Which one suffered from migraines? The husband or the wife? I guess we'll never know. However, one of them placed an order before the bombs fell. They forgot to check their mail, because their new glasses were delivered. This adds a pair of TheraSpecs® glasses to the mailbox in front of the player's pre-war home. All you have to do is pick them up.
What it does is fairly simply, when you equip the glasses, you will get a slight pink-ish tint added to the screen. This effect was meant to closely represent what it's like to wear them in real life. I've worn them daily for several years now and it's the only thing that's really given me any real relief from daily migraines.
I do not work for TheraSpecs, nor do I represent them in any way. I'm just a fan of their products, and of the Fallout games, so I decided to make them meet.
The visual effect is simply an imagespace modifier that gets applied when you put the glasses on and is removed when you take them off. I can't see any reason why it would conflict with anything, but if you're using anything that affects visuals, this may override that when you put the glasses on.
There is a legendary effect added to them that adds a +5 energy resistance. It was created to be a one-off just for the glasses, so if you use something like armorsmith extended, and remove the legendary effect, it's gone.
