Version 1.00
Initial release.
I know there's a few mods that already make similar changes, but they either do more than I want, or get the standard magazine size incorrect, so I decided to do my own.
So here's the rundown:
Most weapons in Fallout 4 are either original to the series and/or only draw loose visual inspiration from real world weapons. Perhaps the most notable exception is the Deliverer, quite literally a .32 chambered Walther PPK. While the .32 rounds from Fallout 3 didn't make a return, Fallout 4 DOES have .38 (which should be called .380, as despite the box art, the model is rimless, and its only base weapon use is the semi-auto pipe gun, ergo not .38 special), a caliber that was, and still is, offered for the PPK... which leads us to the edits made in this ESP:
• Ammunition type changed from 10mm to .38 • Standard magazine and its quick eject variant capacity reduced to 6, true to .380 ACP chambered PPKs • Large magazine and its quick eject variant capacity reduced to 10, a third party option available for this handgun that matches the in-game model
Not only does this add value to a severely underutilized ammo type, it gives the large magazine upgrade a reason to actually exist, making for a safe, vanilla-friendly balance improvement.
6 values altered in total, no extraneous edits, and ESL flagged—super simple and should be compatible with anything that doesn't heavily modify the Deliverer.
