The original mod makes "almost" all damage be the end, you kill fast, you die fast, and everyone else kill each other fast, for the most part at least. Fall damage isn't covered, as well as some weapons and creatures, but those are the exception, the majority of the game will feel tense, especially if you're using other mods like FADE & AI Tweaks.
Anyway you should go endorse the original, namely: One Hit Death.
But also endorse UFO4P, and CFM since I forwarded some changes from them. You only need UFO4P to run this mod however but I recommend getting the other.
