Hey Wastelanders! The Commonwealth can be a challenging place in Fallout 4 Horizon, and I wanted to make a survival guide going over:

-How to get the best possible start in the game
-Optimized builds
-Important early game loot locations
-The mechanics of all the new Horizon workbenches
-Building in Architect

And many more general tips and tricks! If you have any questions about Horizon or suggestions for topics to cover in future episodes, leave them in the comments down below and I'll do my best to answer / include them in future videos.

This episode goes over the best character build, including variations of that build to suit your play style, and the most important things to do in your first day in the Commonwealth.

I recommend the following minimum SPECIAL stats:

S - 5
P - 6
E - 2
C- 6
I - 8
A - 1
L - 2

This leaves you with 6 extra points to spend anywhere that you choose. Endurance, Charisma, and Agility are all good choices.

1 - Hunter (Vault-Tec Training Manual)
2 - Survivalist
3 - Local Leader
4 - Technologist
5 - VANS - Gun Nut, Robotics Expert, Fortune Finder, Scrounger, Medic, Cap Collector,
6 - Local Leader Rank 2 or Technologist Rank 2
7 - Gun Nut Rank 2 or Medic Rank 2
8 - Gun Nut Rank 2 or Medic Rank 2
9 - Technologist Rank 2 or Local Leader Rank 2

Quick tip - copy the following text into a text file and put it into your Fallout 4 folder:

After you scrap Sanctuary with scrapall, open the console and type "bat starting" without the quotes. This will spawn the same workbenches that are normally in Sanctuary at your feet.
