Fallout: London - Downgrader & Addon files
This mod provides you with the tools you need to downgrade Fallout 4 in a few clicks and create mods for Fallout London.

What is included?
The contents of the downloaded files are described below in the same order that you will find them in the zip file:
There is also an optional file which is just the downgrader.
01 - FOLONDowngrader:
For those who have the next gen version of Fallout 4 installed and wish to roll back with ease.
Created by Coffandro, you can simply downgrade Fallout 4 with the click of a few buttons.
Instructions on use are included in the program. Simply launch the FOLON-Downgrader.exe or via the bash script.
source code is also available in additional folders or here.

02 - Stripped ESM DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU PLAN TO CREATE MODS FOR FALLOUT: LONDON.
The "Fallout 4 Stripped ESM" is essential for launching Fallout: London in the Creation Kit and creating mods for it. While too unstable for gameplay, it reduces the base game’s reference count by deleting all cell references except navmesh. Without it, loading "LondonWorldSpace.esm" with "Fallout4.esm" can exceed the Creation Kit’s reference limit, causing infinite load screens.

GUIDE:

  • Rename your current Fallout4.esm as a backup (E.g., Fallout4ORIGINAL.esm)
  • Place Fallout4STRIPPED.esm into the data folder - Fallout4/Data
  • Rename the stripped ESM to Fallout4.esm
  • Launch the Creation Kit
DO NOT USE WHILST PLAYING!
03 - Hexed ESM
DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU PLAN TO CREATE MODS FOR FALLOUT: LONDON.
The Fallout 4 Hexed ESM is a delocalised version of the stripped ESM, enabling merges into LondonWorldSpace.esm, including base form and navmesh overrides. Navmesh, typically locked from edits, requires this file if you want to modify Fallout: London and merge navmesh changes into the ESM.

GUIDE:
  • Rename your current Fallout4.esm as a backup (E.g., Fallout4ORIGINAL.esm or Fallout4STRIPPED.esm)
  • Place Fallout4HEXED.esm into the data folder - Fallout4/Data
  • Rename the hexed ESM to Fallout4.esm
  • Launch the Creation Kit
DO NOT USE WHILST PLAYING!
04 - Source Scripts DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU PLAN TO CREATE MODS FOR FALLOUT: LONDON.
At Fallout: London, we're committed to transparency, so we've included all of our source scripts for you. These allow you to edit any quests or object scripts in the Creation Kit. Below are the recommended CreationKit.ini settings used by Team FOLON developers for working with FOLON scripts and .BA2 archives in the Creation Kit:GUIDE:
  • Unpack the source scripts archive into Fallout4/Data/Scripts.

00 - HighFPSFix

Essential for users with long load times, this allows the mod to run at uncapped framerates while dramatically speeding up loading screens.

ENSURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT VERSION
Simply enable this mod using a mod manager or extract its contents to the Fallout 4 Data folder and enable the plugin via appdata files.
If using ENB, disable "ForceVSync" in "enblocal.ini" and set "Vertical Sync" to Application Driven in your driver settings. Control "EnableVSync" within the mod's settings. If using "BorderlessUpscale" and experiencing ENB issues, set "DisableBufferResizing" to "true" in the [Display] section.

01 - X-Cell
You do not need Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch - UFO4P for this to work with Fallout: London.

"Buffout 4" is included with Fallout: London, but you may also want to use "X-Cell" for improvements beyond Buffout's capabilities.To install, enable this mod with a mod manager or extract its contents to the Fallout 4 Data folder, then enable the plugin via AppData files.IMPORTANT: Adjust Buffout settings for compatibility with X-Cell.
To do this: Navigate to Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\plugins\Buffout4\config.toml.Right-click to edit config.toml with Notepad.In the [Patches] section, set the following:
[Patches]
BSTextureStreamerLocalHeap = false
HavokMemorySystem = false
MemoryManager = false
ScaleformAllocator = false
SmallBlockAllocator = false

02 - Fallout 4 Configuration Tool
Essential for users seeking full control over the game's INI files and settings.

To use: Rename "Fallout4Launcher.exe" (to anything), then place this file in the Fallout 4 folder and rename it to "Fallout4Launcher.exe". This replaces the base launcher with a powerful settings editor. Caution: Full control over settings - use at your own risk.

- Other recommended mods are currently included in the download but will be removed in the upcoming Version 1.03 -

06 - ENB - NOT REQUIRED.

This ENB preset is based on the default settings with tweaks like VSync fixes - the same settings used in our trailers! Just drag and drop these files into the Fallout 4 folder after installing ENB and/or ReShade.
07 - Ultrawide FOLON Compatibility fix (Based on TruBy9)
This file provides a quick fix for ultrawide monitors, addressing skewed or misplaced UI in the 21:9 aspect ratio. It’s compatible with TruBy9, as long as you install our files loose afterward.GUIDE:The INI edits you need to make will be in: C:\Users\*Yourname*\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\fallout4prefs.ini.Use a text editor to open the .ini file.Use Ctrl+F or scroll to find iSize HEdit iSize H and iSize W to match your screen resolution.

A huge thank you to our Patrons and the team at GOG - we couldn’t have done this without you!As a token of appreciation, you'll find some GOG-themed content in the game:
  • A weapon charm for the Select Shotgun
  • A t-shirt hidden in the starting level
Patrons, your names are featured in a terminal at the start of the game, in the same location as the above.

Stay safe and remember. Mind the gap.
